Shoes used as props at Mount Locust near Natchez, MS

This is another picture from last Sunday’s drive along the Natchez Trace Parkway. This shot was captured at Mount Locust which served as a farm/plantation and inn along the Natchez Trace during its time as a well traveled byway in the early 19th century. I have no idea why I took a picture of a pair of shoes used as props but not only did I take the picture I recomposed and took a second one.

As I pretty much expected the shot turned out to be nothing special at all and that’s just why I decided to give it shot by running it through a workflow in Adobe Photoshop. This is the result. I rather like this image now that its been post-processed.

P.S. – Sorry I’m posting so late today but it’s been a busy day that’s gone non-stop until present – just the way I like it.
